Girlguiding in King’s Sutton

Girlguiding UK Logo
There is a thriving Girlguiding group that meets 18:00-19:30 every Tuesday at King’s Sutton Baptist Church Hall. The group comprises a Brownie unit, a Guide unit and now a Ranger unit that meets separately in Charlton (see below). The group has a few spare places at the moment, particularly for Guides aged 10-14. The group participates in activities on a local, district and county level, so there’s always lots going on – from crafts to Zumba, from daytrips to camps! Subs are £15.00 per term, which includes the annual census fee.

The Ranger unit caters for girls and young women aged 14-25 and meets 19:00-21:00 every other Friday at Charlton Memorial Hall. The aim of Rangers is for the girls to be more independent and have more of an input into the guiding programme. The girls are encouraged to work towards various awards that are available through girl guiding. Subs are £25.00 per term, which includes the annual census fee.
