Northamptonshire County Council’s Mobile Library Service

Mobile LibraryFull members of Northamptonshire County Council’s Library Service can:

  • Borrow books, e-books and other items from any of the county’s public libraries. King’s Sutton’s nearest libraries are located in Middleton Cheney and Brackley. We also have a regular monthly visit from the Mobile Library (see below).
  • Reserve items using the Library Catalogue and access other online resources
  • Access the service’s e-Library

If you wish to access e-books and other e-Library resources without becoming a Full Library member, you can become a Virtual Library member. To do so, you must:

  • Be aged 16 or over.
  • Have a personal email address.
  • Complete the online Virtual Library membership application form here

How to Become a Full Member
It’s free to become a full member of the library service. Membership means you can borrow items to take home, reserve items using the Library Catalogue and use the county’s online information resources from wherever you happen to be. If you are over 16, just complete the online full library membership application form here, which will be sent to the library of your choice. You will be contacted when your membership card is ready to be collected from the library.

If you’re under 16, you can join by visiting your library with your parent or guardian.

Please note: the Library Service may occasionally send you information about its services and invite you to take part in customer surveys and consultations.
