Gardening enthusiast? Meetings of King’s Sutton Garden Club take place in the Millennium Memorial Hall on the last Wednesday of each month starting at 19:30, except where otherwise stated. We’re always happy to welcome new members to enjoy our regular talks, demonstrations and garden visits. The Garden Club’s annual membership subscription is £10.00. Film Society: The Zookeeper’s Wife
Venue: Millennium Memorial Hall

The Zookeeper’s Wife tells the story of keepers of the Warsaw Zoo, Antonina and Jan Zabinski, who helped save hundreds of people and animals during the German invasion. Stars Jessica Chastain, Johan Heldenbergh, Daniel Brühl. Life Membership of the Film Society costs £10.00. Entrance is £4.00 for members, £6.00 for non-members. Shows normally start at 20:00 with tea/coffee from 19:30. (Times may vary.) Tickets can be purchased on the door.

The Great Central Railway: An illustrated talk by Chris Bazeley
Venue: Middleton Cheney Library, Main Road, Middleton Cheney, Banbury OX17 2PD

Middleton Cheney’s Library Supporters Group presents an illustrated talk by Chris Bazeley, who describes how the railways changed the world we live in and delivers an amusing and informative history of the Great Central. (Chris used to travel to school each day on that line and later taught in Woodford Halse, where he got to know many of the old railwaymen. Full details and tickets from the library or buy online.
