The “Energy Best Deal” campaign is giving local consumers the opportunity to learn how to stop paying too much for energy. The campaign is putting on two free-of-charge, 1-hour information sessions in the King’s Sutton area next week:
November 28, 2012: 11.00-12.00 at Towcester Town Hall, 86 Watling Street East, Towcester NN12 6BS
November 30, 2012: 15.00-16.00 at Brackley Methodist Church Hall, High Street, Brackley NN13 7DT
King’s Sutton residents who can’t make either of these sessions can still learn how to get the best deal by viewing videos on the Ofgem website (see below).
About the Energy Best Deal Campaign
Energy Best Deal is a consumer campaign funded by the main suppliers through Ofgem (the gas & electricity regulator) and run by local partners, among them the South Northants Volunteer Bureau. Ofgem has produced a series of seven short films covering the scheme’s key messages – how you can reduce your energy costs and what help is available from both suppliers and Government if you are struggling to pay your bills. Click here to view the films.
The South Northants Volunteer Bureau provides information and advice about volunteering opportunities in the district. (Useful as a way of getting experience as well as making a contribution to the local community.) Click here for more information.
