January 26th, 2013

Scott CochraneKing’s Sutton’s Police Community Support Officer, Scott Cochrane, has rescheduled his postponed “Street Briefing” for Saturday February 9 at 16:00 outside the Post Office. He will be leaflet-dropping the area but is very happy to talk to anyone in the village who wants to come along. The street briefing will last for 10-15 minutes and will include  information on local crime figures and the new Northamptonshire Police priorities. Anyone with any other issues they would like to discuss is very welcome.

Crime Update
PCSO Cochrane has reported thefts from three vehicles parked at the rear of Wade Gymnastics Club, Warkworth between 16:00 and 17:00 on Tuesday January 22. Thieves gained entry by smashing the windows of two of the vehicles and by tampering with the lock of the other. Handbags, shoulder bags and a satnav where stolen. Brackley police would like to hear from anyone who noticed any suspicious behaviour in the area at that time and would remind residents to avoid leaving any items of value on display when leaving their vehicles unattended. Call 101 with information and use 999 only in an emergency.
