Can You Lend a Hand to Help Spruce Up the Playgroup Next Week?

February 5th, 2013

Paint PotsKing’s Sutton Playgroup is looking for volunteers to help with refurbishment work to its building (mostly around the kitchen area) during next week’s half term holiday. The Playgroup already has the plumbing, kitchen units and electrical works in place but is hoping a few kind souls will be able to spare some time to provide additional help with:

  • Painting (paint provided)
  • Tiling (the playgroup already has tiles but would love some tile spacers, grout and tile adhesive)
  • Fitting the kitchen units

Also, if anyone has one or more of the following items they no longer need, the Playgroup would be delighted to give them a new home:

  • Large dust sheets
  • A large kitchen bin with lid
  • A small kitchen bin with lid
  • A large noticeboard
  • A nail brush
  • Step ladders
  • A drawstring mesh bag (for washing small toys in the dishwasher)

The work will be carried out during the week of February 11-15. Anyone who can spare a few hours and would like to help will be made very welcome and supplied with lots of tea!

King’s Sutton Playgroup is rated “Outstanding” by Ofsted but the staff feel it is currently let down by its kitchen area. Please help them provide the facilities the children deserve!

Call Playgroup supervisor Lisa on 07958 012874 and let her know when and how you can help.
