Church-based summer holiday club at Croughton school every morning next week

July 28th, 2017

Children of primary school age are invited to join the Summer Holiday Club being run every morning next week by the Astwick Vale Benefice (the churches of Aynho, Croughton, Evenley, Farthinghoe, & Hinton-in-the-Hedges). Entitled “Pyramid Rock”, the club will meet in Croughton All Saints Primary School on Monday July 31 from 09:30 until 12:00, then every morning at the same time until Friday August 4.

Pyramid Rock is aimed at 5- to 11-year-olds and will be staffed by registered leaders and helpers from the Benefice’s five parishes. There will be fun activities, songs and stories each day, culminating in closing celebrations at 10:00 on Sunday August 6 at Croughton Church to which parents, family and friends are all invited.

There is no charge for the Holiday Club, but there will be an opportunity throughout the week to make a donation if parents/guardians so wish. Drinks and biscuits will be served mid-morning, again without charge.
