Get help and advice on everyday household issues this autumn from “Village Networks on Tour”

The Village Networks scheme from Northamptonshire-based charity SNVB offers professional, free-of-charge and independent advice and support to local householders on everyday issues such as access to welfare benefits, reducing utility bills, getting work, and enhancing health and wellbeing. Over the next three months, “Village Networks on Tour” will be visiting communities throughout the county, bringing the scheme’s advisors to residents' doorsteps.

The scheme’s advisors can offer help with:

  • Welfare payments such as Universal Credit, pensions, etc
  • Dealing w1th debt
  • Housing benefit and access to grants
  • Basic computer training for beginners
  • Job-seeking
  • Volunteering opportunities

King’s Sutton residents will have the opportunity thoughout autumn to drop into the Village Networks vehicle for advice, when it parks just outside the Millennium Memorial Hall at the following times:

  • 10:00 - 12:00 Friday, September 15
  • 10:00 - 12:00 Friday, October 6
  • 10:00 - 12:00 Friday, November 10
