Care and Repair Northamptonshire offers a free Home safety check and a range of small home improvements such as small repairs; home security and energy efficiency measures; gas safety checks; fitting of smoke and carbon monoxide detectors; trip reduction measures; installation of grab and stair rails; and assistance with electrics, plumbing and carpentry. Any King’s Sutton resident who is on a low income and who either suffers from a long term chronic illness or has a physical disability, is over 65 years of age, or is in hospital and needs small repairs or adaptations to enable them to be discharged home safely may be elible to get this help.
