Northamptonshire County Council’s Highways, Transport and Infrastructure department reports that a collapsed sewer outside 63 Astrop Road is currently undergoing repairs. The carriageway is therefore not passable in either direction and the road to Charlton and Brackley will be closed until the sewer is repaired. It is anticipated that it may take until Friday next week (November 23) to complete this work. The county has requested that a traffic management system is put in place to allow through traffic at the earliest safe opportunity.
